Housekeeping/Laundry/Maintenance

The Housekeeping/Laundry department is staffed with two part-time laundry aides, and the following housekeeping aides: two full-time, two part-time, as well as several casual who can be called upon when needed. As support staff, the housekeeping/laundry department plays an important role in the day-to-day operations of the facility. Not only do we pride ourselves in the cleanliness of the facility, we strive to create an aesthetically pleasing environment for clients, staff, and visitors. We understand the importance of our role in the hospital’s infection control activities. From the laundry aide to the housekeeper, we all play a vital part in the fight to prevent the spread of disease.

The Maintenance Department, comprising two full-time employees is responsible for the upkeep of all hospital grounds and buildings, including off-site properties.  We conduct regular inspections to identify and address deficiencies, ensuring a safe, functional, and compliant environment.  Our core duties include equipment maintenance, sanitation, and strict adherence to all health, safety, and fire regulations.
